BACK LINE BREAKS.

This video is about controlling the moment when you drive at the back line as a 10.

When you attack with your hips facing goal, the back line will drop.

That’s your cue to keep driving and increase the threat.

But the key moment is not the drive…

it’s the step.

Because the back line cannot drop forever.
At some point, a defender has to step.

And the moment they step, the line is broken.

That’s when you play the ball.

The gap appears because the defender’s momentum is forward,
and once they commit, they cannot recover in time.

The only mistake is playing too early, before the line breaks.

At higher levels, you can also force this moment
by shifting the defender’s momentum with small touches.

Drive.
Wait.
Recognize the step.
Play the pass.

That’s how you turn control into chances.
